An Interview with Pastor Tim
Q: Why did you enter into ministry?
A: I felt the Lord calling me in to full-time ministry and had an overwhelming desire to please Him. After serving as a lay leader for many years, it was a phenomenal transition and privilege. Q: What motivates you to work each day in God’s house?
A: That would have to do with pleasing the Father. I also enjoy the environment and the opportunity to minister to others. Q: Name some people (past or present) that have inspired or shaped your life? |

A: My parents, my wife, Bill Frerking, Tony Colburn, Dan Baker.
Q: What dream(s) do you have for the church?
A: I would love to see “the church” universally being the church by getting past satisfying personal agendas and satisfying the One who died for it.
Q: What do you do to relax?
A: Yard work, washing cars, cleaning the house — you know — all the popular “sports.” Q: What is your favorite ice cream?
A: Blue Bell Moolineum Crunch
Q: What web sites, magazines or blogs do you visit most often?
A: FoxNews.com, Worship Leader magazine — I’m pretty boring. I haven’t really gotten into the blog scene, but my daughter has one that I read occasionally. Q: What do you hate most about church life?
A: I don’t know that I hate anything, but I’m frustrated most by the fact that as always 20% of the people do 80% of the work.
Q: What do your kids teach you about God?
A: That would have to be that in spite of my failures as a parent, God still teaches them things that I couldn’t. |
