From the Heart of the Children's Department Children are important to God and they're important to us! The Children's ministry at Community Worship Center is founded on two principles... The Great Commandment, "Love the Lord with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and love your neighbor as yourself." (Matthew 22:37-39); and... The Great Commission "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." (Matthew 28:19-20) We believe God has a plan and a purpose for each one of us from the time we're born (and before) as stated in Psalm 139. We are dedicated at CWC to helping kids understand that finding that purpose and plan begin in a relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ, and then living for Him with all they've got which includes growing daily in the knowledge and application of His Word, prayer, worship and service. Living a life that shines a light to the world around them. We want kids to be excited to tell others about this great love they've found, the love of their very best friend, who will never leave them nor forsake them, Jesus Christ. |
